Brookside Junior High had it's first P.E.B.S. assembly for the month of September, 2008. P.E.B.S. stands for Positive Effective Behavior Support, which is a system we have adopted (and supported by the HRSB) in an effort to improve behavior in our school. Our staff was pleased that 75% of our student population had no disciplinary referrals to the office! We hope to improve next month with an even higher percentage of students exhibiting positive behavior. |
